Every call, patched to the operator who never clocks out.
Doppeldesk listens to your recorded calls, learns how your best operator books, and takes the after-hours line first. You read the transcripts every morning and watch the booking rate against your own baseline.
Five jacks. One cord. Your operator on the other end.
Doppeldesk is not a blank receptionist you configure from a form. It starts from your calls and ends with a number you can check.

LearnMine the playbook
Script beats, objections ranked by how often they really come up, the FAQ in your operators' words, and your human booking rate.
LaunchOne answering rule
Your phone system forwards after hours to a bridge number. Nothing ports. The clone speaks the consent line and the AI disclosure first, every call.
ProveRead the board
Calls answered, booked, to voicemail, and booking rate against your baseline. Every change is drift-checked before it goes live.
RenewWork the other side
The same operator, outbound: membership renewals and lapsed-customer win-backs by voice, text and email, consent first.
OperatorThanks for calling the Claim Center. This call is recorded for quality, and you're speaking with an automated assistant. Is it okay to continue?
CallerSure. I got a letter with a winning number on it?
OperatorGreat, that's the invitation to the briefing. Are you and your spouse both able to attend a one-hour session this week?
CallerProbably Thursday. Is it in person or on Zoom?

OperatorThursday works. It's on Zoom, and I have 10, 12, and 2 Eastern. Which is best?
CallerNoon.
OperatorNoon Thursday. Can I get your full name, and I'll read back your phone and email before I book it?

OperatorYou're booked for Thursday at noon Eastern. The link is on its way to your email. Anything else I can help with?
It sounds like your operator because it learned from your operator.
Every line above comes from a mined playbook: the greeting, the qualifying question, the readback rule, the tool it is allowed to call.
- Only offers times a tool returned. It cannot invent a slot, a price, or a confirmation number.
- Spells back phone and email before saving anything.
- Consent and AI disclosure first, chosen by the caller's state.
- Hands off to a person when a transfer trigger fires, or takes a callback after hours.
Built from a Houston travel membership company's own recordings, gated before it took a single call, and measured against the operators it learned from.
Design partner. Pilot in progress, not yet named publicly.
- Dozens of booked and non-booked calls were pulled from the company's call-tracking system and mined for the script as it was actually performed.
- The clone was linted against every reason its booking tools can return, then drift-checked against the live agent before launch.
- It takes the marketing line after hours, when calls used to go to voicemail. The morning digest goes to the owner.
- The board compares its booking rate with the human operators' measured rate. Numbers are published when the partner says so.
What keeps it honest after launch.
A voice agent is three things that drift apart: the prompt, the tools, and the settings. Doppeldesk checks all three, every night and before every change.
Drift check
Is what's live what we shipped? The prompt, every tool's URL and required fields, the model and voice settings, byte for byte.
Contract check
Every error the booking API can return has a line in the prompt telling the operator what to say. No handler, no launch.
Regression calls
Every objection mined from your calls is replayed against the new version by a simulated caller before it goes live.
Priced like an operator, not like software.
A setup fee for the cloning work, a flat monthly per line, and minutes as you use them. Introductory pricing while the first lines go live.

Questions owners ask first.
Do I have to change my phone system?
No. Your existing system keeps the number. You add one answering rule that forwards after hours, on overflow, or always, to a bridge number that fronts the operator. RingCentral, Office@Hand, Google Voice and most PBXs support this.
Is it legal to record and to use an AI on the line?
Every call opens with the AI disclosure and a recording consent line. The consent wording is chosen by the caller's state, and when the state is unknown the strictest form is used. Outbound calls require recorded consent and are not part of the first launch.
We don't have recordings. Can we still start?
Yes, on Launch. We start from an industry pack, a crawl of your website, and a short interview with you. After two weeks the operator mines its own calls and proposes its next version, so it converges on a clone without legacy data.
What happens when it doesn't know something?
It never invents. If a tool returns nothing, it says so and offers a callback or a transfer. Every situation where your human operators handed a call off becomes a transfer trigger for the clone.
Who can see our recordings?
Only your account. Recordings and transcripts live in your own storage bucket. Industry packs learn aggregate patterns, never your transcripts, and only with your consent.
Can it book into our own scheduling system?
Google Calendar and Cal.com are included, plus a capacity-managed session schedule for group presentations. Custom systems are integrated as a separate service at a day rate.
