A Schedule step in your call flow sends after-hours calls to your Doppeldesk operator. A read-only API key lets it learn from the recordings CallRail already keeps.
Add a Schedule step to the call flow.
Business hours ring your team as they do today; any other time dials the operator. CallRail's guide covers the step in detail.
- Open the call flow
Go to Settings, choose the company, then Workflow, and open the call flow your tracking numbers use.
- Add a Schedule step
Enter your business hours in Schedule Branch A, and add a Dial step under it to your normal line.
- Route any other time
Under Any other time, add a Dial step to the bridge number we send you.
- Save and assign
Save the flow and assign it to your tracking numbers.
Recordings
An admin with access to every company creates an API v3 key under Integrations › API Keys. Keys are read-only by default. Doppeldesk lists your calls, downloads the recordings, and mines the playbook from calls that booked and calls that didn't.
Attribution stays yours
Calls still ring through CallRail, so its source tracking and reports keep working. On a campaign line, the operator also asks for the mailer or ad code and saves it on the booking.

Do my tracking numbers change?
No. Your tracking numbers, attribution and reports stay in CallRail. The call flow simply dials the bridge number outside business hours.

Doppeldesk is built from your own recorded calls, in your operators' words, and reports booking rate against the people it learned from. Every change passes a drift, contract and regression gate before it goes live.
How far back can it learn from?
CallRail keeps calls and recordings for 25 months, so there's usually a deep history to mine. CallRail meters API requests, and a large first import can go past its free monthly allowance.
